Meet the Locksmiths
Wayne Younger, CML
Wayne began working as a locksmith when his father, LeRoy, opened LockSafe Systems in 1970. Since then he has worked his entire life to serve the security needs of the Northern Colorado community.
Wayne has owned LockSafe Systems since 1994. He has been a member of the largest Locksmith trade association in the world, the Associated Locksmiths of America (
ALOA), for over a quarter of a century. When he achieved his Certified Master Locksmith certification, he was the youngest to do so in state of Colorado.
Not only is Wayne a long-standing member of the Associated Locksmiths of America, he is also a member of the Safe and Vault Technician’s Association (
SAVTA) and the National Safeman’s Organization (NSO). He regularly demonstrates expertise in all areas of locksmithing, from safe opening and repair to automotive lock servicing.
Wayne has been involved with security education and has even published articles for various exclusive locksmith publications. His widely recognized abilities as a true master locksmith have allowed him to consult for local and federal law enforcement agencies, international corporations, and mom-and-pop businesses alike.
RJ Gilmore
RJ is valuable employee at LockSafe Systems, regularly applying his expertise in the field of automotive security. Born in New Jersey, RJ has over a decade of experience which he puts to use everyday.
An intimate understanding of vehicle locking systems allows RJ to, among other things, expediently unlock car doors and help out customers who loose keys or have other trouble with car locks.
Not only does RJ have expertise with automotive security, he regularly services every type of residential and commercial lock imaginable. These other skills range from installation of deadbolts to the repair of esoteric commercial locksets.
RJ is truly a jack of all trades with regard to different areas of locksmithing and physical security. He has even achieved brand-specific certification for electronic access control, making him an even better-rounded locksmith.
Will Wood
Will, a lifetime Fort Collins resident, runs the shop. He regularly serves all of the walk-in customers with expertise, reliability, and promptness with a friendly attitude. Will has experience with a wide variety of locks from padlocks to door locks to vehicle ignitions.
Will’s formal education as a machinist and years working as an auto mechanic plays a valuable role in his ability to work with locks. With patience and an acute attention to detail, he has no problem tackling any challenge that is brought before him.
Matthew Myers, CPL
Matthew is the youngest member of the staff at LockSafe Systems. Working as a locksmith since age 14, his ambitious personality and passion for locks makes him a valuable employee.
With experience in many areas of locksmithing, Matthew has particular interest in high security, foreign, and electronic locks and security devices.
A member in good standing with the Associated Locksmiths of America (
ALOA) and the Rocky Mountain Locksmiths' Association (
RMLA), Matthew has demonstrated proficiency in many areas of locksmithing by achieving the certification of "Certified Professional Locksmith". Matthew also has published articles in the National Locksmith and the Independent Locksmith Journal on topics such as lock bypass techniques and safe deposit box lock servicing.
